The path to your weddin'

After you contact me I’ll send you an email asking for certain details – names, location of the ceremony and your chosen date or dates. If I’m available we go on to step 2.

You will receive your Wedding Guide and questionnaire that will help to gather all of the important information we need to create your perfect ceremony.

You and your partner will have 6 weeks to read the guide and complete the questionnaires

We finalise your ceremony  4 weeks before your big day, and lock it in. We expect no further changes to be made past this point.

Online meeting -  we have a 30 minute Zoom call to see if we’re a good fit for each other. I will hold your date for 48 hours. If I don’t hear from you it will be automatically released.

We will have a meeting to discuss the answers of your questionnaire and also allow me to gather any other information I need to begin writing your ceremony.

Final pre-ceremony check (15-minute Zoom call) to make sure everything is in order. During that week we will also have your rehearsal or a less formal meeting in person where you will sign the next legal document which is the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage (DONLI)

This time we will complete three things: the  Notice of Intention to Marry (NOIM), the service agreement that covers everything I’ll do to deliver your perfect ceremony, and payment of your booking fee (deductible from the total) to secure your date.

You will receive the first draft of your ceremony, where you will be invited to list any changes.  The remaining balance of your fee is due at this stage. We will then have a Zoom meeting to discuss the draft script, make any amendments, and then we keep in contact regularly until you are completely in love with your ceremony. 

On the day I will be at the venue early to check in with each of you and to ensure we are ready to go! We will deliver your perfect ceremony, during which you will make your legal and personal vows to each other and, with me and your two witnesses, sign three legal documents – two copies of the Official Certificate of Marriage and the Ceremonial Certificate which you will take away with you on the day.
